Alright guys, I have a couple of questions...I would like to know who the manufacturer of my beloved UXGA screen is...Device Manager says "Lenovo"??

As for the ATI and Intel WiFi drivers, it looks like they're the latest, but I recall installing something from the respective manufacturers' websites on my SXGA+ T60p. How do you guys go about choosing how to, and where from, to install drivers for your computers?

One thing I've noticed, the display is MUCH...MUCH brighter and more vivid, than the SXGA+ LCD I have on the other T60p, and I don't think it's because of the higher 1600x1200 resolution. It honestly hurts my eyes if put it on the brightest setting...It makes me so...excited!

I use either Omega Drivers or ATI modded Catalyst drivers, afaik, i use a modified catalyst driver which hasn't been updated for many months now... I don't exactly recall how the patching was done, but i believe it was done with ModTool. The Omega drivers support FireGLs natively.

Thanks Troels! Actually, there was a typo, so it's a 2007-94U. Let me try that tool.

Alright, it's a Hyndai BOE-Hydis, as erik had accurately predicted.

I use the Belarc tool (belarc.com), and it doesn't list it there. The driver is quite old. As awesome as the display is now, maybe I should upgrade the driver? Alright, this is getting obsessive again...lol...but man, this is fun.

The seller wanted someone to get it who appreciated what IPS Flexview entailed. I must communicate to him that appreciation is not nearly strong enough a description. More like ecstatic, overjoyed. Hmm...Shocked is another good one, as I am shocked at how fantastic it is. I'm trying to be subtle about how I feel, so I'll shut up now.
