Which wifi card is for my T60

#1 Post by lazyazn » Sat Dec 08, 2007 1:40 am

Hi
I bought a t60 over the internet and after receiving it, realized it is missing a wifi card. Does any one know where i can get one of those for cheap. i dont really know what kinds of card are compatible with the laptop. I went to Lenovo's support site, i got a lot of part numbers which dont mean anything to me. So can anyone tell me a couple models that fit my computer or what numbers and letter combination that i should be looking for on a wifi card?

Thanks

Almost all T60s come with an internal wifi card. You didn't see the wifi card is probably due to the fact that it's been disabled in BIOS.

Press F1 during boot up and check your T60's BIOS settings.

"I've come a long, long way," she said, "and I will go as far,
With the man who takes me from my horse, and leads me to a bar."
The man who took her off her steed, and stood her to a beer,
Were a bleary-eyed Surveyor and a DRUNKEN ENGINEER.

I have IBM/Lenovo Intel 3945 ABG that is almost brand new (I took it out of my T60p on the same day I received the laptop). I can do $20 shipped on the card if you like. Let me know.

Here's an Amazon link to the model ryengineer just posted. I just bought one last week and installed it in my T60p, and it runs like a charm.

http://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-ThinkPad-W ... 303&sr=8-1

It's in stock and available for next day delivery, if necessary.
