I was just browsing the lenovo outlet.

There's a section selling cancelled/never-been-used T6Xs.

There were two T60s 15" SXGA+ with flexview.

I have no experience with flexview, but have read some passionate reviews of it here.

anyway, here's the link to the items...
http://stores.channeladvisor.com/Lenovo ... 263l3am706?
http://stores.channeladvisor.com/Lenovo ... 200l38x0n3?

in case someone out there is interested.

-cheers

I think I just got the second one. Thanks for the tip. I have been looking for a flexview forever. Christmas has come early for me :)

I received my new T60 TP today. The Lenovo Outlet does not give you a lot of info but I can't complain. I got my idea of a dream machine for a price that was ridiculously low. If anyone is interested, here are a few FYI's: 1) After I placed my order, my confirmation email did not restate my system configuration, so you may want to print it out before you buy a system. 2) I did not receive a shipping notification when my computer shipped. The order status said it would ship 12-17, then on 12-17, it changed to 12-24. It actually shipped 12-14 :D . Also, I had a couple of surprises when I looked at the packing list, it says that my machine has 256 MB video card and bluetooth. Yahoo!!

Awesome! That's how I thought of it when I got mine. 8) I checked them out. I only see T61's, except for one lousy T60. :D They've pretty much disappeared from ebay, too. Look at it as an investment. 8)

What happens when you have an issue with the LCD? That's my question. With the loss of newer Flexview screens, how will repairs be made?

They have plenty of them in stock, should something happen to the screen. I asked them the same question a few months ago.

Hey Flexview owners, if it's not too much to ask, can you please post your model numbers. I am on the hunt for a T6x with Flexview.

I didn't see any in the Lenovo Outlet, so I presume that they are long gone.

An alternative way to start up with would be to read the lcd sticky and then consult the ltwbook which contains all the info. about thinkpad T60/p.

2007-94U, 2623-D3U, 2623-DDU. Look for 15", "p" models, SXGA+ and UXGA only.

Yes, they are gone from the outlet store, and largely from ebay as well. Try craigslist in your area, too. Some incredible deals can be had on CL! But be careful!! I would only deal LOCALLY with CL. Lots of phonies on there. Hope this helps. ;)
