What level is used for G network and what is the actual range outdoors? Anyone has the data?

The power level control method depends somewhat on which OS you are using, but there is support for power levels in both Windows XP and Vista.

In XP it is in Access Connections (and possibly the device driver) and in Vista in is in both Access Connections and the Power Manager. The *nix environments also have some power control capability but I don't use them so can't comment on how it is controlled.

As far as range, it depends on many factors, including the specific antenna arrangements on the access point, so there is no simple answer to your general question.

What sort of range are you hoping to achieve?

Im trying to see if changing for 200mW pcmci WiFi card will improve the range to be more then 50m indoors?
