Is T60 15" video fast enough for Compiz?

I imagine that compiz requires some fancy video processing, so I wonder if my T60 15" is fast enough?

The T60 is available with a broad range of video performance, from GMA graphics up through ATI v5250. The size and/or shape of the screen doesn't indicate how powerful the graphics are for any given machine.

I'm not running Liinux, so compiz isn't an option for me. Bu I am running Cube Desktop on my T60p with v5200 graphics and it runs totally smooth. I suspect that it would probably run just fine on GMA graphics as well.

I ran compiz (OpenSUSE 10.3) on an R52 with Intel integrated graphics, so I think your T60 should have no problem.

The T61/p's look like they all come with nVidia gfx now. I have the same ATI V5200. Why do you think/(know?) did they switch away from ATI? And which do you like better, if applicable, and why?

Thanks...:)
