T61 with Wireless USB?

I have a T61 (Model 7664-18G AKA ND218DE or ND218AT) and I don't know if I have Wireless USB installed.
How can I check this?
The background: I'm thinking to make a clean installation of Vista (http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=144783) and there I should "Download these if your system has these options:" but I don't know if I have Wireless USB.
http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... MIGR-68278 just "Support models: ThinkPad T61, T61p". Does all T61 have Wireless USB?

BTW: I'm not really sure if I should make a clean installation without all ThinkVantage-Software ...

Only CTO (Customize-to-Order) models are being shipped with WUSB. The mentioned model is pre-configured.

mine is cto, but I think wusb is not included. it was not available to choose when ordering, and the order confirmation says w/o wusb (explicitly, i did not select bluetooth, and no mobile broadband)

you'd know right away if you had WUSB as the bluetooth icon on the clear plate is replaced with a WUSB antenna icon.   i have WUSB on mine and can post a photo of it later if necessary.   plus, Fn+F5 would show WUSB as an option under the wireless radio power options utility.

i think you would know if you had WUSB. You would have waited an extra month for your notebook and would remember paying for a hefty upgrade

Thx 4 your infos!

One thing: I see now in the BIOS (Ver. 1.26) under "Security" / "I/O Port Access" the option "Wireless USB" (which is enabled).
I don't have WUSB in Access Connections (it's not active, the same like WWAN).
Does every T61 have the option in the BIOS?
Is this option in my case (if i don't have Wireless USB) no active?

What would I need for Wireless USB? Is this a card or a special chip or something else?

edit:

Wireless USB enable/disable option actually shows up in T61 BIOS regardless of whether the machine has Wireless USB card installed.

Well, I also see it (enabled by default) in my CTO machine's bios but I don't see any other evidence of it on my machine. I have the normal Bluetooth icon on the panel below the display and don't see it when I press fn + f5. I didn't pay extra for it and didn't wait longer for it. After reading through this thread, I still don't know if I have it or not, or whether there is any use for it.

pae77, sorry I have corrected the info I posted. We both have 4:3 14.1" T61 and those models do not have the Wireless USB slot. So your T61 does not have Wireless USB.

Only 15.4' W CTO models come with WUSB option. If you don't have both then you probably don't have WUSB regardless of what shows up in the BIOS.

In addition there was a time in between when lenovo stopped shipping WUSB even on the mentioned model due to outsourcing problem.

Ok, thanks for clearing that up.
