Cannot create recovery media - what's the deal? T61

I have seen the tutorial on how to make discs... I am aware there are two types of discs- the rescue/recovery discs which can restore your system to factory settings and reinstall the recovery partition (ie: in the event of a complete HDD failure), and then the single disc that you can make to boot your computer from the recovery partition.
I know the rescue/recovery discs are numerous and the startup disc is just one single disc. I am looking to make a set of complete rescue/restore discs but my computer won't give me the option to do so. In the tutorial it shows the option to write to DVD/CD or a HDD, and below that it shows how you can make complete recovery discs. Well, on my computer it only gives the option to make something and label it "rescue and recovery startup disc". That's it... then the wizard finishes. There is no option to make a full set of discs. All windows update and thinkvantage updates are installed. What gives?
MOD EDIT: Kindly continue discussion in the previous thread of yours on the same topic. Thank you.
