Docking station.

The only port on the bottom of a T61 is for a docking station. God only knows if that is what you are asking, but I am feeling transcendent tonight

Yeah, I figured it had something to do with docking. What is it compatible with?

docking station if you are referring to the bottom bottom
the firewire if you're referring to the lower left bottom
the firewire if you're referring to the lower left bottom

It's compatible with an essential port replicator, the advanced mini-dock, and the advanced dock.

but I didn't realize it is a T61 sitting ON the advanced dock. I though the big hole in the back is the port for the advanced dock. After a better look I see my mistake. Thanks for the info.
That is a sweet setup, I should buy one.
