My current driver on my on laptop is not allowing me to run some games and i wanted to know the best driver that i should use on this system. Also anything else I should take into consideration to boost its performance. I feel this driver may not be the best one for this cpu. The driver is mobile intel 945 express chipset family and I have a t60.

Which games do you have trouble running?

If you have intel graphics, you may not be able to play certain games regardless of what driver you use due to hardware limitation.
