T61 BIOS

Hi all,
Could anybody advise me how to unlock the bios password ?
The generic model is a 7661-CTO

Good luck with that. Requires a motherboard replacement if you forgot the password.

i have read that with a power on password,
we can reset by
1. removing battery,
2. removing back-up battery
3. turn on (( i guess i have to plug the power connector at the
backside))
and wait the POST..

It doesn't work..
or maybe i did something wrong ?

Yes.

The instructions also states:

If the Power-on password is forgotten and the Supervisor password (BIOS password) is known.....

Also:

If the BIOS Password (Supervisor password) is forgotten there is no way to reset it to enter the BIOS configuration.
