i have a 1 month(ish) old T61P bought in US as a US machine ( US keyboard etc.) i have been using this all over europe for the last few weeks without any problems hooking up to lots of different wireless set ups.....Happy New Year To All!

I deduce your situation is the same as mine: bought the PC on the US because it's cheaper (USD).

Anyway, did you have to configure anything? Or did it work straight from the start?

I think it might be because those two channels are rarely used, even in Europe.

Yes, that's what I'm afraid of... Is there any way to test the upper channels?
