Hi,
I recently used this system snapshot tool located at
https://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/acce ... rt%2F&row=
to take a snapshot of my system.
Btw, the tool seems to only work in IE as it requires an ActiveXControl to be installed.
One item I don't understand is this.
Under MEMORY INFORMATION, it says
Total Physical Memory: 3072 MB
Memory Utilization: 21
Usable Memory: 2047 MB
Free Memory: 2047 mb
Can someone explain to my why the 'Usable Memory' size is lower than the total 3 GB I should have?
I have a T61 running XPP (8897-CTO). I bought the system with 1GB ram, and I bought a Corsair ValueSelect 2GB 667mhz single stick. (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6820145172)
I use PC Wizard 2008 and it also claims I have only 2048 MB.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
Usable Memory Size less than Total Physical
