Fn + special keys don't work

#1 Post by pavelz » Sat Dec 29, 2007 8:09 am

Hi,

I noticed that Fn + special keys don't work. The only thing that works is display brightness (Fn + Home/End). If I try Fn + F7 the result is that I can switch VGA on/off without launching Presentation director. I tried to reinstall HotKey driver, but it didn't help. I don't know if it is a problem, but I don't see HotKey in installed programs.

Thanks for any help.

For Windows Vista based "think" machine reinstall the following:

1. Lenovo System Interface driver.
2. ACPI Power Management.
3. Display driver. (from lenovo)
4. Hotekey utility.

Add Presentation Director to the list too.

Drivers and software - ThinkPad T61, T61p.

Fortunatelly I didn't have to reinstall all items. After reinstalling Power management driver it started to work. Thanks for help.
