Is there anyway to upgrade my T60 to Intel Turbo Memory?

#1 Post by jlingo » Sat Dec 29, 2007 6:55 pm

When I bought my 9 months old T60, It came with Vista but didn't come with Intel Turbo Memory. Is there a way to actually buy one of this or send in my laptop for an upgrade installation with Intel Turbo Memory?

Thanks in Advance.

your thinkpad doesn't support turbo memory. The T61 and/or the santa rosa systems supports turbo mem. You can buy the stuff but it wont work as such. As far as turbo mem tho, it's a bust as of right now. Wouldn't waste my time and money.

The WINTEL monopoly won't admit it, but I heard Turbo memory in Vista is a couple years away from being relavent.

I've got Turbo Cache on my T61 and it makes a difference. It's only 512mb and I'm trying to figure out how to upgrade it to a larger cache.

It probably works great for me because when I start my computer I always start the same programs...
