T61p Monitor Profiling

I just received my new T61p (5469-CT0) with Nvida graphics. I attempted to profile the display using Monaco Optix software and spyder but ran into a lot of snags and didn't like the extremely warm color rendition that resulted.

Has anyone come up with a good .icc profile or method to attain accurate color rendition for serious digital color work?
