Hey everyone,
I have a brand new T61p that i just pulled out of the box, and i am having 2 weird issues

1. Flash Player will not install at all - even though i have the full version of flash and it works fine on the computer, i cannot get it to install correctly to view websites that use it

and

2. When i go to work in the morning - Access connections works fine - but when i come home at night, access connections has a hard time connecting to y home wireless network - it just keeps connecting and disconnecting until i reboot the machine. And then it works fine.

Does anyone have some ideas on how to fix these issues?

regarding flash player; what OS do you have, what version of flash player are you trying to install, and what browsers do you use?

try using windows to configure your wireless network profiles and see if that helps.   i prefer using windows for my wireless settings since access connections is basically an intermediate interface for the same settings.

I have tried to use windows, and it just says any time to make a change, that "One or more setting changes requested has not been applied successfuly"

You could try removing access connections and then letting windows take over, this is what works for me. Make sure wireless zero is enabled (services) and check let windows manage my wireless nw.

Look in your system event long and see if your wireless card is posting a lot of events to it. The Intel 4965AGN has some serious stability issues with the drivers lenovo installs. I had all kinds of problems (had a hard time connecting to networks, wireless card would just SHUT OFF or Blue screen the box). Lenovo didn't recommend any new drivers but I found from poking around the web that other laptops (other mfers) had similar issues with this card. Update to the latest drivers directly from Intel - when I did all the problems went away. I'm using driver version 11.0.5.32 (Vista) - you can get it from Intel's web site.

Well you know the 2nd issue could be related to a number of things.

One not mentioned is that your home router could be the problem. Routers sometimes start dying after time....or they have difficulty handling the latest wireless conditions from clients. When I recently switched to the N router DIR-655 i instantly got a rock solid connection to the AP for a change.....and 130MB/S.

The second possibility not directly mentioned is that when you switch APs (going from work to home), with access software, you have to double click on the access icon, find AP, connect to AP each time.....normally.
