Problem with Rescue & Recovery on a T61

#1 Post by jamesvdm » Tue Jan 08, 2008 11:29 pm

Hi folks

I've just uninstalled R&R on a new T61, yet every couple of weeks I get a popup title Rescue & Recovery, with a Yes and a No box, but no other text.

From experience this would normally prompt to do a backup.

I've checked for startup programs and scheduled tasks but can't find anything that may cause this. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Two possible solutions:

1. Reinstall Rescue and Recovery and disable automatic scheduling of backups before uninstalling again.

2. Run a good registry cleaner to clean up R n R registries.
"I've come a long, long way," she said, "and I will go as far,
With the man who takes me from my horse, and leads me to a bar."
The man who took her off her steed, and stood her to a beer,
Were a bleary-eyed Surveyor and a DRUNKEN ENGINEER.
