Monitor specifications for WSXGA+ screen?

Where can I find the specifications (modes, sync values, etc) for the WSXGA+ (1680x1050) tft lcd screen on my T60? There are, apparently, two screens; one made by Samsung, and the other by LG. I think mine is a Samsung (Mfg #42T0328, FRU #42T0329). This is in order to resolve a Linux problem, but it seems as if the request fits better here.
I've been looking on the Lenovo site, and have gotten as far as the numbers above, but no luck so far with more details. Can anyone help?

Try this thread for the LG specs:

You can use PCWizard 2008 to see which model you have.

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately, not enough for my purposes ( to make Linux happy).
Model is simply identified as IBM2887 by software. Can't find anything that way either.

You shouldn't have to give it a specific model, just "LCD Panel 1680x1050" or "IMB LCD MONITOR" in xorg.conf.

That WOULD seem logical, yet it doesn't seem to work out very well with the newest ati drivers, or the restricted drivers. We seem to have to define the screen much more specifically to get things working.
Update - Found some info that should help:
