My T60 can see the bluetooth headset as an audio device, but there is no bluetooth audio option to choose for the sound and audio device. Really can't figure out why, any help is appreciated.
Thanks.

you usually gotta go sound in control panel and change some stuff but the program you are using should ask about audio outputs too.
oh and you using Vista or XP.

1. Push the blue thinkvantage button and turn on blue tooth hardware
2. Click on my bluetooth places probably on the desktop and then select find bluetooth devices
3. Select your hardware
4. turn on your bluetooth headset and put it in Pairing mode (read its manual)
5. On the computer under your device's properties enter the passcode (for me it's 0000)
6. The headset and the computer should connect, automagically. If not choose connect on the computer for that hardware device.
7 Start->Settings to control panel sound devices and look for the bluetooth headset wherever there is a pull down menu.
8 Place some sound on the pc and listen for it on your headset. Voila.

What operating system are you using?
If its XP, you may need to get the later version of the Watcom BT driver (from Braodcom) than is currently supplied by Lenovo.

I am using Win xp.
I failed at step 7. I open the sounds and audio devices from /control/, then click the audio menue, there is no bluetooth audio option there (pull down menue for "sound playback" and "Sound recording"
My T60 did pair the headset, if I open the bluetooth Devices, it shows my Jabra BT8010 headset as an audio devices.
Any other thing should I try?

I checked the device, it should be the Broadcom BCM2045B, where can I download the Watcom BT driver for it?
same problem...

I have the same issue. I believe that the problem may be related to either the audio device drivers or the bluetooth driver.
My headset used to work, but sometime in the last three months both of the drivers were updated (work automatically does this - I can't prevent stuff from being applied to my machine), and now it no longer worrks.
Any thoughts on how to troubleshoot this (figure out if it's the audio or bluetooth drivers). I'm leaning towards the audio drivers because everything on the bluetooth sides seems to work...
Thanks
