My screen is too dim

#1 Post by Firedragong064 » Sun Jan 13, 2008 5:08 am

I have a WVGA 14" screen.
The screen is too dim for me. ... more dim when I run on battery.
What is the best adjustment for the screen?

Drop a email to james@famteam.com. He is a forum member here and does a great job of renewing ThinkPad screens. Reasonably priced, and prompt. I just had a old R50p screen done by him and it is tons better now.

you can set it to full brightness on battery in BIOS, preconfigured all Thinkpads dim down 20% on battery.

Go to "Display properties" and then "Advanced" to see if there are options to increase gamma, brightness and/or contrast.
