Hi,

Just received my T60 1953DAU from USA. I wonder if it supports WWAN ?

I found 1 area on right hand side of TFT ..It looks like I can add some wireless card in it but not sure. There is no button to release that slot.

Any idea ?

Is it possible to extend warranty when standard 1 year warraty is already ended ? I bought Refurnished piece...At Lemovo site it shows warranty expired in Nov 2007.

Above model has flex view TFT or normal XGA ? Smile

And is it possible to add extended battery to above model ?

Regards,
AmeY.

According to lenovo Product Finder:
T2300E(1.66GHz), 512MB RAM, 60GB 5400rpm HD, 15in 1024x768 LCD, Intel 950, CDRW/DVD, Intel 802.11abg wireless, Modem, 1Gb Ethernet, UltraNav, Secure chip, Fingerprint reader, 6c Li-Ion batt, WinXP Pro
1. No it's not flexview.

2. You don't add WWAN beside screen, you add it in Mini PCI Express slot, so does the WLAN which your machine already has. On the right end there shouldn't be anything other than Ultrabay, HDD door, 2 USBs and a security lock slot.

The WWAN ready machines from factory comes with an antenna installed on the right end of the lcd that shows a hump.

3. Although the model in question is not even covered under International warranty service for your country but you should contact lenovo to inquire about purchasing post-warranty service pack for a refurbished machines in your country of course, it varies and depends on geography.
