T60 vs T61 Display Brightness

#1 Post by hamoudi » Tue Jan 15, 2008 7:25 am

just want to know the exact brightness of each laptop with 14 inch SXGA+ resolution.

Ive heard that the T61 14" SXGA+ is miserable when it comes to display brightness. I had the T61 WSXGA+ and it was awesome.

Can anyone advise me on this issue?

look in the tabook. it's a pdf with all the models and specs. I have to say that I have a T60 15.4 wsxga+ and it's a lot brighter than my T60 15" sxga+.

thanks a lot.
now i know that the 14W has 50 nits more than the 14 tall.

but what i didnt find is the exact number of nits for a T60 14" SXGA+ coz i need to compare both 14" modells since im only interested in this screen size.

Naturally, the wider the LCD, the longer the CCFL backlight at the bottom edge of said LCD and, conceivably, the greater the light output of said CCFL.

I thinks these nits/specs do not really tell the story. What about hands on experience? Is the 14,1" wide screen better compared to the 14,1" standard aspect screen?
