Can I use my WWAN antenna for an abgN- capable PCIe carD??

Look at the top right, where it says 1a in the picture. It says select models only, but maybe they mean being able to use BOTH WWAN AND N-wireless. I don't need the WWAN at all, and would only like to use the antenna for N-wireless. Does anybody know anything about that?

I would doubt it. They are different frequencies, and they tend to optimize the antenna to work best with a certain frequency.

They are different antennas for different frequencies. WWAN uses cellular (~800 MHz) and PCS (~1.9 GHz) frequencies. Wifi uses unlicensed (~2.4 GHz) frequencies. Although some manufacturers make multi-band antennas for both WWAN and Wifi that is not the case with Lenovo. You would need to replace the WWAN antenna with a third Wifi antenna for the best possible performance from an 802.11-n wifi card. Note that the third antenna only provides an increase in diversity, so an -n card would probably perform pretty well without the third antenna.

I thought whole point of N's enhanced reception was that. It is not the same as the old cards' diversity, they only used one antenna at a time. N uses all of them at once.
Anyways, you can use the third antenna if you want, I'm guessing it will be better than nothing, but not as good as the antenna designed for it.
