Use HDD Password to lock out a drive, but still boot?

With more than one bootable drive installed, could you refuse to enter the HDD password for the drive you aren't booting from, and boot from the other drive?

This might be useful if you sometimes wish to boot from a drive in the ultrabay, with no access to the main drive. (Set a password for the main drive, but don't enter the password when booting from the ultrabay.)

Doesn't seem to work though, unless there's a setting I missed.

Never tried it, but it seems to me that the F12 boot selection menu on boot is a much easier solution.

But that still allows read access to the main drive.

I'd like to deny access to it, without physically removing it, but still be able to continue past the bios screens to Windows.
