I need a modified bios for my old Thinkpad R32 Type 2658 (European). I change the mini PCI Wifi Card and get the know 1802 error.
I have read the Zender's manual and i probe to modify the bios myself but i have no idea, is very hard for me. Please, i need the modified correct bios for my computer. Any can send me a pm with the link to the bios or send me an e-mail with the bios? Thanks and regards! juanma2k@gmail.com

Got it! Made a boot CD (as suggested) and updated without any problems.
I'm finally able to use Atheros card with my X41.
Thank you so much for making this modified version and thanks to good thinkpad community people who provided me the image!

Hi folks,

I've recently run into this issue with a new X201; it's understandable that Zender hasn't provided a fixed BIOS for this one yet, there are several subtle differences in the BIOS compared with those described at http://www.endeer.cz/bios.tools/bios.html. But with a bit of work, it is possible to patch the X201's BIOS as well. I've pulled back the curtain a little bit on this process here: http://web.dodds.net/~vorlon/wiki/blog/ ... _BIOS.html

This is certainly still a long way from a point-and-click solution - I don't have a general "disable the whitelist" patch, at this point I'm just adding my own card's ID into the list - but there is a glimmer of hope for those who are seeking a fix for this on the X201.

(Standard disclaimer: if you don't know what you're doing, it's not a good idea to try this on your laptop! You may brick it, cause it to hunger for the flesh of your firstborn, etc.)

I tried the phnxpatch method for my t43 and it patched the bioscod5.rom which I repackaged into the fl1 file and it was the same size after re-compressing it, but still after applying the flash it is still the same error. Can someone please send me the Zender T43 bios ??
