Hello Guys!

I hope someone can help!
I tried to Update my X41T's BIOS

My new card is an TP-Link TL-WN861N Rev. 2.0 with Atheros AR9223 chipset.

I created an FDD from Lenovo with the original Files. Replaced the .fl1 File and started to flash.
So far so good, but after replacing the new card, the 1802 failure issued again.

Does anyone have experience with the same card?

Maybe an other way to flash or something else solves this issue with my X41T and the card!

Just to get this out of the way, the modified BIOS does not solve the issue of Lenovo capping the SATA port to 1.5MBPS, correct? I only ask because I put an awesome SSD in my x61s and I barely notice a difference, but in my desktop the difference is incredible. Plus, is there a cap set on the PCMCIA port? I put a CF reader in there with a super fast CF card and it runs slow as anything. But the SD card slot is blazing fast. Confused beyond belief!

Anyway, if someone could PM me the modified BIOS for an x61s so that I may replace the wifi card with a Broadcom BCM94311 and also throw in a Verizon mini PCI card without my x61s spitting error messages, I'd greatly appreciate it. Tried looking on my own for days now.

I'm about to take the plunge on the modified bios. My bios is currently at 2.12 from April 2007 on my T60p 2007 CT0. Is is worth me upgrading to the latest bios beforehand?

Updated to 2.25 success! (...probably one of the longest "1 minute" of life though...)

Can anyone get in touch with Zender and ask if he could release it for 2.26 BIOS for the T60p? He didn't answer my PM

2.25 has some usb keyboard issues issues while booting...

@Harryc; can you please PM me the URL? The old one Zender sent me a year ago doesn't work anymore.
The guys at IT flashed my BIOS and now I have the original problem back.
