Hi,

I read this tread with great interest and am hoping to fing a solution to my problem.
I have a Thinkpad X41 Tablet and want to use a TP-Link TL-WN861N mini pci-adapter.

It gives me the 1802 error on boot, i can hotplug it and use it in linux.

I also want to know if it is possible to install a kingspec ssd in the X41, becouse my hdd is failing.

Any help is apriciated.

I've recently purcased a Intel 4965AGN MM1 wifi link for my Thinkpad R61 A8927.

I'm running a 2.29-1.08 BIOS version on a XP Pro...

Is it possible to flash it, and be able to install the mentioned wifi card, as for now I'm getting the 1802 error?

I have a two year old this for 1802 but can remember how to do it.

I've successfully installed Zenders BIOS on my x200, and now my Dell 5720 is working great (Thanks!)
However, i can't for the life of me figure out how to get it recognized in Access Connections. I followed Zenders instructions, but I don't find any vendor or device strings in any of the AC dll's. I'm running AC v5.62
Both ACon.dll and AcAdaptersInfo.dll show are version 5.6.2.7
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have an R32 and it has the same problem. I plugged in an Intel WM3B2100, what I earned from an R40, but it did not work.
Somebody has wrote, who has R32 too, that he was successful with the no-1802, but I was not.
Could you please send me the modified bios in PM?

If the update tool on the iso doesn't accept your usb cd drive, you can use Winphlash. The latest version can be found here. It also work in Win 7

hello community! thanks for the great help providing for the users/lovers of the thinkpads! i been a dedicated user of them over the years i own a x40 and a t60p both running flawlesly xp pro and debian. due to heat problems the t60p sometimes doesnt let me go to xp however if it doesnt cool down a bit! other than that amazing pc's!

on the subject: my x40 runs atheros with the no-1802 boot cd correcting the error;

not however the t60p, so please if one be so kind and provide me with the modified bios or any other solution. the machine is a t60p 2007 model.
