If someone have bios for T60/T60p (model 2007 with 4:3 screen) I would appricate from that.
I'm trying to get intel Pro/Wireless 4965agn to work as I have problems with original 3945abg-card.

Hi,

I have a t60 and a t60p, both of machine type 2007, that I want to upgrade to an Intel 5100 wireless card. Can I have a copy of the modified bios for the t60 and t60p? Can I use a generic Intel 5100, or do I need a 5100 meant for Thinkpads? Thanks

I've generic intel PW4965AGN and modified bios in T60p and it works perfectly. So I would say you don't need TP specific card but can use generic one when using modified bios.

Official notice. I am retired from giving out the link address for Zenders site. There's just too many requests, and too many people think I have something to do with the site or it's content...I do not, so I am done. Someone else feel free to pick up the reigns. I will not reply to PM's on this subject.

I have a x301 and GOBI 2000 WWAN card and am getting the 1804: unauthorized WAN card error message. Can some please PM me the BIOS fix for this setup? It looks like I might be a day late because I see Harryc is throwing in the towel. Harry, could you come out of retirement for one more PM fix?

Hi all,

i recently updated the bios of a T60 1952 CTO and now i get the 1802 message.
I would be very happy if anyone could provide a bios which works with any wlan card.

The old bios was version 2.25, the new one with the error is version 2.26 79ETE6WW as of 2010-04-01.
Any working bios version is ok for me.
This was simply the first Thinkpad i ever updated and i will never make this again ...

Thanks for any link or hint

wengi

PS: First sent pm to Zender. But no reaction. Hope anyone can help.
PPS:
I promise i will sent the pm to a minimum of three more users who request it, if i receive a pm
Maybe this is a way to continue the job of Harryc.

I'd like to install a Gobi 2000 in a T400s 2801-CTO. I also get the BIOS error msg. Has anyone modified the BIOS file for 2801-CTO? If so , I'd very much appreciate receiving a copy or link. Thank you.

Lenovo Thinkpad T60P
model: 2623-ddu

I have tried installing a broadcom wifi card in second slot with pin 20 taped, doesn't even show up.

Is a patched bios for broadcom bcm94321mcp1 available?

I have osx snow leopard installed. If there is a bios avail can I safely install it in bios update section in bios?

Thanks!
