Hi!

I've got a Thinkpad X41 (not Tablet). Could somebody please send me the Bios link? I've sent Zender a PM a week ago (feels like it's been four weeks ago), no reply yet.

Thanks a lot!

Many thanks, T400s Intel5300 working.

Bought a T400s second hand, did a system update which included the bios not knowing that the original user had updated the Wifi card to Intel 5300, 1802 error after a reboot..

Installed the 5300 mini PCie card in the spare WWAN slot which worked after covering port 20.

BIOS update went fine, Wifi card re installed in original position, Fn5 working/

Many thanks.

Hello everyone, I am looking for a modded BIOS for my x61t.

I have tried installing a 4965agn card in the second PCI slot with pin 20 tapped. The card has installed in windows; however, it does not find any wireless connections. I updated the driver to the latest on Intel's website. Has anyone else seen this behavior before?

I have a Lenovo Thinkpad T410, it has an empty slot for a WWAN card, the recommended card by Lenovo is the GOBI2000. I bought a GOBI2000 but it was an HP spare (it was half the price of the Lenovo and I thought would be the same hardware). I had not come across whitelists before. As there was originally no card installed I do not have that part of info, I have added the info of the card I have bought once the machine has booted. I am unsure why it says USB as it is connected to the internal PCI port. I would like to remove the whitelist if possible so I will not encounter similar issues in the future, although my priority is to get this card working. I have tried to read up on how to do it myself but have had no luck. Any help much appreciated.

The card I have is unlocked to all mobile network providers.

Any ideas? I have been looking into flashing the card with Lenovo FW but no luck so far, references here:

Cheers!

It states very clearly that Zender would like you to PM him with your firmware request and give him 48 hours to respond before you start begging and whining in the forums.

Let's not lose perspective, please! I have not seen anyone "begging and whining", and you might wish to consider that it might be just a bit early for you, who joined the forum less than 24 hours ago, to make your first posting an admonition! If you cannot help substantively, then please stay out of the way.

All others, you may wish to check to see if anyone has sent you a Private Message (PM).

Agree with EOMtp. Also lets be clear about obtaining the Zender BIOS. You do not have to bother Zender or beg for mercy. He has a website up with all the BIOS modifications, but does not wish anyone to publish the link out on the open Internet. So we're left with this thread to PM the link to each other. If anything you'd have to ask someone in this thread who has already obtained the link to share it.
