I have a new T61P. I really like this laptop. Considering I have always had Dell's in the past. One, question. when I am unplugged from the power cord and it gets down to about 50% on the battery it seems I lose my wifi connection. Is this a setting in the power area. I can't find anything in the settings? Any suggestions?

Posted by someone else a day or two ago but I couldn't find it.

Anyway, go to the device manager and look at the properties for the wireless card. There's a tab for Power Managment where you can un-check the option to allow the computer to turn off the device to save power.

Here:

My Computer > Right Click Properties > Device Manager > Network Adapters > Right click Properties on the network > Power Management > uncheck "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".

Thanks
