Installing a hard drive in the Express slot???

I've looked around, and I want to say I remember reading it here, and that being that I can supposedly install another hard drive in, or with?, the Express Card slot? How would this work? Is this for real?

Of course, there are express card slot ssd drives available now, I think the largest capacity once are around 64 gb. But they will not be extremely fast. Actually the largest I found is 16 Gb: http://www.lexar.com/ssd/expresscard.html , but I'm sure I saw bigger once.
