Lenovo.com Offer Expiring Jan 21?

Is the current discount on Lenovo.com for a T61 a typical discount or is it a one time thing. A T series is supposedly $300 off right now. I was thinking of getting one, but I wanted to diagnose my T40 first and think about it a bit more, and don't really have time to do the config right now.

In other words will this "special" recycle after Jan 21?

lenovo runs sales all the time.   the time in between jan 21 and the next sale, however, is anyone's guess.   it could be a week, a month, or a few months.

my advice; if you need a new thinkpad now then buy it now.   if you can afford to wait then wait.
