When trying to install the latest Ricoh 4-in-1 card reader driver, I get the following error:

A recently installed program tried to install an unsigned driver. This version of Windows requires all drivers to have a valid digital signature.
Driver: RICOH xD SM Driver
Service: Ricoh xD-Picture Card Driver
Publisher: REDC

Anyone has a workaround? Or managed to put xD-Picture cards to work in Vista x64?
I guess this explains why so many people were having BSOD while trying to read xD-Picture cards....

There is a work around that works for any unsigned drivers in V x64 but you may or may not like it. I use it for the beta of PeerGuardian 2 for Vista which currently has an unsigned driver and it works pretty well for me because I don't reboot that often.

The work around is to reboot and press F8 like you were trying to boot into safe mode. You will then be presented with a list of boot options. The last one or second to last one allows you to boot with driver signing disabled. Select that and you should be good to go. Just need to go through that procedure every time you reboot, but not, of course, when you just go into sleep or hibernation.
