Hey guys

My t60 recently started sitting a little weird, the corner under my right palm sits off the desk about an 1/8 inch. Problem is when I start using the laptop it makes a few, sometimes more than 10, low clicking/tapping sounds then stops. I am worried there is a short. Anyway to find sorce of problem?

From what I gathered from your post, I suggest you reposition the palmrest:

Palm rest removal movie - ThinkPad T60/p.

Palm rest installation movie - ThinkPad T60/p.

I also hope something is not wrong with one of the support wedges under your thinkpad.
