Screen goes black for a second and the mouse cursor is reset

A few seconds after logging in in Vista, my screen goes black for about half second and the mouse cursor position is set to the middle of the screen.
It only happens once.

In the beginning of the clean install I didn't have this problem.

I got it only when I started installing the drivers (but I don't remember after which it started).

Anyone has/had this problem? How did you fixed it?

Not sure if it's important, but my T61p specs are in my sig.

Does it do it while on battery power only?

If so it was a common problem on the T60 - flickering while on battery power.

Yes. It happens even when the AC adapter is plugged in.
