Does anybody know whether ThinkPad Advanced Doc has dual-link DVI output connector as the same in Advanced Mini-Doc which can drive 2560x1600 WQXGA resolution?
Regarding Advanced Mini-Doc I've seen some posts on this forum that it has dual-link DVI.
Does Advanced Doc have the same one?

RonS,
Good news! Thanks.
Did you check this yourself or only hear from somebody?

RonS,
You wrote here

that Advanced Dock is not dual-link DVI.
I wonder how you detected that it has dual-link DVI.
Did you test it yourself?

I tested both an Advanced Dock and Mini Dock with a 30" display running 2560x1600 resolution. I tested with both a T60p and a T61p. All combinations drove dual-link just fine.
Prior to that, in March 2007, I did a test with a widescreen T60p and an Advanced Dock where it would not drive dual-link DVI. I suspect that was a driver issue - I was using someone else's system for that test.

intel GMA chipsets in the T6x support DVI-I and DVI-D up to 2048x1536 resolution.

Try Advanced Doc with dual-link graphics adapter inside.
