Hi all...I currently have the Intel 3945ABG card, and have noticed that whenever I re-install Vista for whatever purpose, an older driver shows greater coverage. I'll soon be needing the best possible signal possible. I realize that the drivers that SHOW let's say 4 bars, may actually just be doing that, SHOW a signal that isn't "4 bars strong". Currently, I have the one from 11/27/07. There is one from 4/5/07, and another one from August or Sept., in that area.
I've found out on more than one occasion that the latest drivers and/or firmware upgrades for devices (not just desktop/laptop computers), are not necessarily the best...What I need is the best RANGE. A tad slower? Fine. Range and stability are of utmost importance for me for this project.
Thanks everyone.
