Error BEEP - how to get rid of it?

#1 Post by 35712 » Sat Feb 02, 2008 1:21 am

Hi folks!

I've got a problem: I don't know why exactly, but as long as I've got the sound enabled and I type one of some specific combinations, there comes a loud BEEP out of my T60. I have already disabled every warning sounds in the sound device controls, as well as in the bios. But this beep does not seem to care about this and joins me from time to time, which makes me wince every single time.

Any idea how to burry this beep?

If you go into device manager, select view->show hidden devices on the menu then disable beep under Non-plug and play devices you should get rid of the beep after a reboot.
Make sure you disable beep and don't delete/uninstall.

I'm pretty sure this is what you are looking for.
