Create rescue-recovery media

I thought with my new T61 that it might be a good idea to create Rescue-Recovery media (I wanted a DVD probably).
However, when I attempted to do so I got an error message:
"The files required for creating the rescue media cannot be found."

Any suggestions would be appreciated,

i was getting the same message when i wanted to create my rr cd/dvd's, what i did was call lenove and they sent me a free copy because the system would not create them for me. you shoud give them a call and explain the situation and they will ship them out to you. it did take a while becasue they supposedly had to get some type of clearance to send them out because it was a vista os, but they sent two copies, one of which i kept and the other shipped to someone else,hope this helps

Of course, if you prefer XP (as on your X40), you may want to request Lenovo send the XP Product Recovery Set for your T61.
