T61 fan in a T60p 8741-J3G

Been working for a while on lowering fan noise on my T60p. I have tried the following:
Replaced the fan on warranty
Replaced the motherboard (belied fan controlling issue)
Installed tpfancontrol
Used ArcticSilver cooling paste
Replaced the thermalpads on GPU and northbridge with cobber plates.

But still the fan is to disturbing for me, I really miss my T40p that was hardly running the fan at all. I came over this article http://www.notebookreview.com/default.asp?newsID=3889 where the new improved fan of T61 was evaluated.
Does the T61 fan fits inside my T60? If so, what is the number of this fan? Has anybody tried this solution?

Thanks
Oarnoe

I have read that for the T4X-series some types of fans are less noisy for the same machine.

Is it the same for the T6X series?

If so, what is the best fan for my T60p?

Just for grins, what's the power dissipation of both the CPU and GPU in the old T42 vs. the new T60p?

That should be a good indication why there's a difference in fan noise between the two laptops as the fan's primary job is to move air for cooling.
