T61 Keyboard or mouse doesn't work on boot.

This is a new machine which I formatted and installed xp sp2 with our vlk key from work.

Machine has no issues in the device manager. But the keyboard and mouse will randomly stop working. Sometimes control alt del doesn't work on fresh boot.

Bios is up to date.

Going to try this link and see if it fixes the problem.

Gees that would be wonderful if it does.

I've also reseated the keyboard as instructed by leveno.

Looks like the 2 drivers fixed the problem.

I didn't know they were required.
