Error when T60p starts - References Connect Utilities

#1 Post by Jay_Z » Sat Feb 09, 2008 12:45 am

T60p 8744J2U w/ Windows Vista Business

The error window that pops up says...

Heading of window "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Buffer overrun detected.

Program: ...Files\Thinkpad\connectutilities\SvcGuiHIpr.exe

A buffer overrun has been detected which has corrupted the programs eternal state. The program cannot safely continue execution and must now be terminated.

Any suggestions? How do I resolve this so it doesn't pop up - anyone else have this experience?

This error message is from Access Connections (AC) software. Uninstall it and run the system update, and it'll find the latest version of AC. Install it and let us know what happens ...

Great - so far so good!

In fact, I have had issues with the Client Security/Password Manager not working right and did the same thing, that's working like it never did before.

Now if I can just resolve the Firefox issues - but that looks to be much deeper!
