I run the Thinkpad update on my XP T60, 8744 HDG,

and I get a Failing Update when is starts to Install,

Firstly I get a Dialog: Notify at the Windows Title, and
a OK button, No text at all.

Then I get the next Dialog: Stating data.size() != 3.

any Ideas.

Your post says: XP
Your signature says: Vista Business

The "read me" of the Lenovo ATI driver/sofware update says:

1. .NET Framework 2.0 required
2. If your computer runs satisfactorily now, it may not be necessary to update the software
3. Before update, uninstallation of current driver is recommended.

May be one or more of these suggestions is relevant to your issue?

I checked if I have the .NET 2.0
and I do have that installed,

.NET Framework 2.0 Configuration

(version 2.0.50727.42)

I Forgot to mention that the setup fails with a final message:

"Setup failed to run installation: (0x80040707).

I do run XP, my signature is a bit out dated.
