Wireless sleep issue

hello.....on a number of our T60s we are getting the following error....The device driver for the 'Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection' device is preventing the machine from entering standby. Please close all applications and try again. If the problem persists, you may need to update this driver......we are running the latest wireless driver......FYI they are T60 200746Us and 20074DUs.....I have also gone into the power management of the wireless device and set it to maximum performance......still no change.....any help is appreciated.

you can either downgrade the driver or get one from Windows Update. Those are more compliant.

The other option is to turn off power management (bad option but still one) Thatw ay the wifi card will be on all the time so the system wont have to put it to sleep.
