Hai everybody, I am facing an hanging issue with T60p Laptop. The issue is that, the machine will shutdown automattically with in an hour. After that if I try to switch ON the machine it will hang in the windows logo. when I touched the basecover, I felt a burninig effect because TP is that much heated up. I project this issue to get any suggestions from the readers so that I can work with the machine without any issues... Waiting for a replay :(

I've had that happen with my T43p. It would shut down in half an hour, especially when playing back videos. Is your fan running properly? Are you covering any vents? Try to move your hand in front of the fan on the upper left corner, and see it blows out warm air, or if it's running at all, since you said you said it is happening every time you start it. You may have to clean the fan out. I did, with my T43p. It was SO annoying, and I wasn't even running Vista at the time.

Good luck to you. ;)
