T60 bluescreen after log in

This just started happening.
I usually don't shut down my laptop. I always have it on my coffee table. Recently, when I open the lid and log in. I get a blue screen. Then it restarts OK. Works fine the rest of the night. Last thing I recall before this was installing optional updates.
Just wondering if anyone else has had the same problems.

I did a system restore to about a month ago, ran it for a few days. to test it out. All OK now. I also deleted all restoe points and started over.

Sounds like the problem I started having after I updated my video driver. Rolled it back and the problem went away.

Specifically, the machine would die with a blue screen when coming out of standby.

I had this problem once when I Hibernated my system. Before hibernating I didnt unplug my USB cable which was conencted to my SonyEricsson handset. After resuminf the lapptop, the cable wasnt connected and it showed me blue screen as he detected no hardware... Sometimes Windows XP gets fooled by itself..Hehe !!
