Check free memory slots

Hi there

I'm sure I saw a post the other day that showed how to interogate the memory slots by software instead of having to take the case apart but typically I now can't find it at all.

Can someone give me guidance ?

Or you can simply go to:

http://www.crucial.com/

and run their memory scanning tool. It'll tell you what you have and what your options are for more memory.
