Hi all,
now that I have the latest and greatest SSD, I have a problem with my configuration. When I connect it to the Harddrive adapter in the Ultrabay I get a maximum transfer rate of 70MB/s (HD Tune). The drive supports Ultra DMA 6 but the XP sets the driver to Ultra DMA 5.
I do not know if this would make a difference at all since Ultra DMA 5 should support 100MBytes/s.
The drive delivers about 120MBytes/s sequential read and write.
Any idea what could be wrong or what I could try next?
Kind regards,
Wolfgang
