hi casperkid and Crunch question...
I know you guys did the 'brain" transplant of using a T61p 14" 4:3 motherboard into a t60p..
Can you tell me more of the motherboard you guys used? model,FRU, video card ect..? awhile back i picked up a damaged t60p and tinkering with the idea of a T61p (Boe Hydis) flexview in a t60p body..can you give me more info about it?
I think the newer R61 with newer video card can do Blueray as an additional option ..so in theory..this will work..once a blueray slim drive is available for the T series..
can you shed some light on the motherboard spec and any info..also do you find the new t61p grafix any better than the t60p..thanks

There are no flexview LCD's in T61's. The T60P was the last Thinkpad to have them. That's why the 15" T60P's with UXGA Flexview LCD's still go for $1200 and up :) . Also, there is no such thing as a 14" IPS FlexView LCD, not in IBM/Lenovo product line, nor has there ever been.

Sorry, i should have made myself clear..
It should have read :"14" non-wide screen T61P motherboard into a T60P"
some members did this hack and it seems to work ..I like more info on the mother board from anyone who did this "transplant".. :D

I looked up the t61P 14" manual on the mother board with
fru: 42W7650 --nvida NB8P-GL
Quadro FX 570 256 MB..

hum...would this work? ..boy this looks really costly..
