Got my eyes on a T61p. It has wifi ABG but not N.
Is it possible to upgrade it if in time i find it needed? By me? By Lenovo because of the missing third antenna I read about? Expensive?
Or can It be done with an axtra card (pcmcia or wathever it is called now)

I won't need it anytime soon because rest of my network is not 'n-capable'

Yes, it's possible to upgrade it by yourself anytime you like in the future, however if there is no third antenna present on your current configuration; you would need to install it.
